cold snap....EEK

Post by blennieluvr on Mon Jan 06, 2014 12:32 am

We are living up to "Frozen Ocean" name these past few weeks eh?  I hope you're all able to get through this cold snap without troubles.  I decided to stay home tomorrow even though it's my busiest time of year at work.  It's just plain scary outside.

Yeah the colder it gets the busier I get,and what really sucks is 3/4 of my jobs are broken water pipes so I'm usually wet all day.

Oh Jim, wet and cold, I'd be dead in an hour! I put a small heater in my goldfish tank in the basement as they were really getting cold from the floor. It's goldfish only now as the few koi I had left, died during that month when everything was dying at my house. The two I rescued from the restaurant are doing well though.
We fed the horses a hot supper and breakfast to help warm them up.
Keep warm all of you and extra thoughts to you all on the prairie!

Jim that sounds rough. Hopefully this cold lightens up soon and we have an early spring.
