Tulip snail

Post by GoodToGo on Wed Mar 04, 2015 10:22 am

Bought a few larger snails at the LFS in Hibbing. I noticed one had a red foot but didn't think much of it. When I got home I thought hmmm, better look this up before I throw it in the tank. Turns out is is a tulip snail, which is a predatory conch type snail that eats...snails. It'll be going back.

Good thing you checked it out.  It's scary sometimes....  I'll leave it at that.
